The Family Resource Centre (FRC) is dedicated to providing a wide range of services and programmes to promote and support healthy family relationships. FRC provides a wide range of free services and programmes to equip families with tools and strategies to parent confidently. FRC offers short-term, long-term and comprehensive programmes that cater to the needs of families and individuals.
Specific to domestic violence, FRC offers crisis intervention, advocacy and referrals. We work with clients to develop safety plans for themselves and their children.
FRC delivers the Domestic Violence Intervention Training Programme to professionals who work with those who experience or perpetrate domestic violence.
FRC hosts a Legal Befrienders clinic which provides free legal advice regarding a range of topics, including for individuals who experience domestic violence.
We are a part of the Department of Counselling Agencies. Our sister agencies include Caribbean Haven Residential Centre which provides rehabilitation services to those experiencing substance addiction, as well at the Counselling Centre which offers free, confidential counselling services to persons of all ages.
